PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

October 2014

Hello,

Hope everyone is enjoying our weather these past couple weeks. Not too hot, not too chilly.

First, we would like to give a great big round of applause to our judging team for their excellent showing at US Nationals. They did a wonderful job and our many thanks go our to Tami Pacho for once again taking care of our team.

We are hoping you made plans to join us for our General meeting in November. We will be having our Fall Wrap Up meeting at the home of Bill and Mary Ann Hughes in Chino Hills. We sent out invites by email this year as well since we decided to go with a potluck this year. If you plan on attending, please call Mary Ann with your plans for food. We are looking for salads, desserts, entrees, and appetizers. All other items will be provided.

The end of the year is drawing more near, and that means our Christmas Party will be just around the corner. Mark your calendars for December 14, 2014. We will be having our party at the Mission Inn so that we will all be able to visit the Festival of Lights. We will start the evening with a group dinner at Mario’s Place, and then stroll the area to see the incredible light display, ice skating rink, horse carriage rides, and of course… Santa Claus!!! Please Call Eldona Reasoner so that we can get a count for our reservation at Mario’s. There is no pre-payment for this even but we do need your name so that we may hold the reservation. Thank You.

Sincerely,
Laurie Henkel
